Hey, toi ! Ãta fait vraiment longtemps qu'on ne s'est pas parlé !
J'adore ton expérimentation, ici. Ãta me rappelle Frank Zappa.

Si tu as Skype, ce serait sympa.
Aussi, merci beaucoup pour le feedback, j'apprecie vraiment. :') J'ai confiance que ce ne sera jamais termine tant que je vis. Peut-etre meme apres. x

This is the best song I have heard from ya (so far). Much more work on the instruments, on the solos and more phrasing... you should keep it up that way. Frank Zappa was working pretty much the same way. Maybe change the beat after a while? Even though it's pretty much the same emotion all song long, I truly like it.
Keep it up.

Fantastic.
The last time I laughed so much about a flash animation on NewGrounds goes back to 2009 when I watched David Firth's Valentines Day card. That was awesome.
Great job, buddy.
For different reasons, I hope.
Thanks!

Amazing animation, but lemme get this clear...
People will always question the ending.
I wanna talk about everything this animation had except the ending (which seemed to be the big issue of the movie, according everyone who watched it). I'm gonna try to explain the way I perceived this animation from the beginning to the end, step by step.
Technically, you've done perfectly well. The music, the colors, the speed, the mood, the atmosphere, the expressions, the shapes and the characters are perfectly done. We don't care if they looked strange. It's all based on the imagination of the artist and I find it very interesting. You do whatever you want on your animation.
The symbolic interpretation and representation in this animation is amazing (the ending is included).
We see the flags, we see the desk, we look at the walls and the whole structure of the room. I automatically thought about a minister's office or the office of the President/Prime Minister itself. It was clear to me that we had an interaction with a federal government, in this animation. I knew at first sight that politics were involved. But again, it's my interpretation (because we can interprete this animation in a lot of different ways). These are the first symbols I've noticed.
Another thing I've noticed is their shirts. It's clothes society will be likely to wear (Nike logo, basket-ball shirt, "Sexy Bitch"). We have to understand that they (the 5 characters clicking the buttons) are what society is, because they wanted it to be this way. It clearly shows a form of direct dictatorship. The 5 characters (people working at the government) sitting there and clicking these buttons, activating those spikes being shot at the back of the person, are clearly attempting at changing the society, the world, by virtue of their own way and of how they want it to be.
We can see these 5 characters as an idea, an image, of what the society has been transformed into, as well. We can see this as the society backstabbing you, attacking you, rejecting you, for your difference within the society, since this society has been builded up by political powers and not by the people itself.
These spikes and the fact that guy dies because he doesn't want to conform with such corruptive, dishonest and disgusting people shows the power these people can have. It shows what they can do against you and what they want to do with people that doesn't conform. They wish you would fall in a hole, die in it, could no longer be able to say what you have to say and being forgotten forever. That's how they're ready to treat people, if they don't agree with them.
When we have a clear view of the back of their heads and actually realizes it's robots, near the end, it gives a good representation of the kind of illusion they can give to everyone of us. They seem to be good people, smiling everyday, caring about you and what's going on with you and make sure you live a good life. But when you know what's behind the curtains, what's behind their masks, behind their personas, you only see obedient, mindless robots only caring about their own lives and having an amazingly and huge use of one-upmanship on people.
The end was perfect and it concluded very well the situation. I don't think it was the artist's intention to make it funny. It shows that, even after some gruesome, terrible and appalling moments happening like these on people's lives, even if they're doing it themselves, they will FUCK with you ANYTIME they want.
At the same time, it tells you what's their kind of party, of fun, where they pick up their sources of happiness, of joy and their reasons to smile. Their sex is controlling.
Again, this whole review is how I perceived and understood this animation. The artist's name is Sarkazm, but I don't think this animation was sarcasm. If it was, he unconsciously and perfectly represented under his imagination a major aspect of what is going on in society and what kind of people we have in our government, medias, corporations and schools.
Thank you, Alek Wasilewski, for this brillant animation.
10/10 and 5/5.

Masterpiece.
I think this movie is the best representation of what friendship is.
The tree is growing up and has branches. The branches are the friends of the tree and they are part of the tree.
The tumour is growing up and up in the guy's body. But it's so big that the tumour's gonna get bigger than the guy itself... and it's killing the guy.
The dog offers his body to keep him alive... and he does. The guy now has a friend... a friend that is finally part of him and he thanks the dog for the gift.
I could say more... but that's only what I understood of the movie. I won't spoil the whole thing for the others.
From what I understand from this movie, I can consider this as a masterpiece. David Firth, you are unbelievably creative, imaginative and logical.
